Helping Tribal Youth Succeed in Today’s World

Qutekcak Native Tribe and Chugachmuit both offer training programs and scholarships for the Tribe’s youth. In addition, cultural sharing and learning are offered through the Drum and Dance Group and the Native Youth Olympics team.

Each summer, qualifying QNT youth are hired for summer jobs that train them for future employment, or support the programs of the Tribe.

Summer Youth Program – in cooperation with Chugachmiut, this program offers tribal members between 14 and 21 year old work experience, career advice, the chance to build job skills and develop a strong work ethic.
