Community Potluck and Silent Auction - Friday, March 12, 2010
Please join us on March 12th at the Seward Elementary School Cafeteria for a community potluck. This event will begin at 5:30pm. Please bring a dish to share!
**This is a great opportunity to meet QNT’s new Tribal Administrator, Scott Allen. **We’ll be playing ESKIMO BINGO. Donations are being accepted for Eskimo Bingo. Donations can be new or gently used items from around your home. Please wrap them and bring them with you to the Potluck! **We’ll also be doing a small SILENT AUCTION to support QNT’s active youth program—specifically, the dance and drum group, JNYO and NYO teams. We look forward to seeing you at this community event!
Alaska Native Arts & Crafts Fair - Date To Be Determined (May/June 2010)
Qutekcak Native Tribe is pleased to host its third Alaska Native Arts and Crafts Fair on a date yet to be determined in Seward, Alaska. The fair is intended to provide Alaska Native artists and craft persons an opportunity to exhibit and offer for sale their original handmade arts and crafts products.
Celebrating Healthy Lifestyles (formerly known as QNT’s Sobriety Gathering) - Saturday, October 9, 2010
Qutekcak Native Tribe is pleased to announce its 17th Annual Sobriety Gathering. Our gathering is a spiritual and cultural event promoting healthy lifestyles in our community. This event has become a popular, family oriented gathering attended by people from throughout the state who would like the opportunity to support one another on the road to recovery and to celebrate healthy lifestyles. The activities of the day include performances by various Alaska Native Dance and Drum groups, arts and craft vendors, healthy lifestyle and subsistence vendors, food vendors and special speakers. This event will be held at the Alaska Railroad (AKRR) Cruise Ship Terminal which is located at 913 Port Avenue in Seward, Alaska. All are welcome. Please join us!
