Celebrating Healthy Lifestyles (formerly known as QNT’s Sobriety Gathering) - Sunday, August 29, 2010

The Annual Sobriety Gathering has been redefined as a Celebration of Healthy Lifestyles.  In doing that we’d like to bring the focus back to our local community and tribal members.
Qutekcak Native Tribe invites you to attend its annual Celebration of Healthy Lifestyles.  This year’s event will take place on Seward’s waterfront in the Branson Pavilion on Sunday, August 29th from 12noon to 4pm.  This is an old fashioned COMMUNITY PICNIC and QNT is providing the main course (burgers, hot dogs & halibut), dessert and beverages.  All you need to bring is your lawn chair and a side dish.  OH!  And don’t forget the kids.  QNT is sponsoring lots of fun activities and games for the kids and they’re providing a free gift to the first 50 attendees.  There will be information about healthy life choices, good food, good company and lots of fun.  You won’t want to miss it!
Special thanks to our many volunteers and to this year’s event sponsors:  North Pacific Rim Housing Authority and Chugachmiut.
Pease contact our office at (907) 224-3118 if you have questions, if you’d like to volunteer your time OR if you have healthy living information that you’d like to share at the event.
This is Seward – we’ll celebrate rain or shine and we hope you’ll join us!  Quyana!  (Thank you!)
